ECU Health Bertie, Chowan and Roanoke-Chowan Hospitals are inviting community
members to take charge of their health in a welcoming, relaxed setting at the upcoming
Men’s Health Social and Dinner events this June.
Designed to make conversations around men’s health approachable and engaging,
these free events will be held June 11 in Ahoskie and June 16 in Windsor. Each evening
will combine meaningful health education with a complimentary, nutritious
dinner—creating an experience that is both informative and enjoyable.
While the focus is on men’s health, the events are open to everyone and will offer
valuable information for all attendees. Guests will have the opportunity to connect with
trusted local providers, including Renea Price, FNP, who will share practical, real-life
strategies to help individuals feel their best, stay active and prioritize long-term
wellness. Attendees are encouraged to bring a spouse, friend or neighbor for an
evening of connection and learning.
“This is more than just a dinner — it’s an opportunity for men and their families to gain
valuable knowledge in a comfortable, community-centered environment,” said Brian
Harvill, president of ECU Health Chowan Hospital. “We’re proud to bring these
resources close to home, and it’s absolutely worth the short drive for anyone in Chowan
County to join us in Windsor or Ahoskie for an evening that could truly make a
difference in their health.”
With a focus on breaking down barriers and encouraging open dialogue, the Men’s
Health Social and Dinner events aim to empower attendees to take proactive steps
toward better health — while enjoying good food and meaningful conversation.
The events are free to attend; however, registration is required. To learn more or
reserve a spot, call 252-482-6314 or visit https://go.ecuhealth.org/49VEwy1.
