The Rocky Hock Ruritan Club is bringing back a popular local tradition with its annual Hee Haw show, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, at David’s New Red Barn at the Rocky Hock Campground.

Community members will have two opportunities to enjoy the live production, with performances set for 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. The event features the Rocky Hock Opry Band and the entire Hee Haw cast, offering an afternoon and evening of music, comedy, and country-style entertainment inspired by the classic television program.

Organizers said the show has become a much-anticipated annual event, drawing audiences from across the region. Sponsored by the Rocky Hock Ruritan Club, the production helps support the group’s ongoing community service projects and local initiatives.

“This is something folks look forward to every year,” said Steve Evans, a key organizer of the event. “It’s a fun, family-friendly event that brings people together while helping us give back to the community.”

The show will be held at David’s New Red Barn, located at 1008 Davids Red Barn Lane. The venue, part of the Rocky Hock Campground, offers a rustic setting that complements the country-themed performance.

Tickets are $15 and concessions will be available during both shows. Advance tickets are recommended, as performances in past years have drawn strong attendance.

Tickets can be purchased at several local businesses, including Byrum True Value Hardware in downtown Edenton, Jim’s Market and Deli and WE Nixon Hardware in Rocky Hock, Dan Pittman Insurance Agency in Windsor, Leon Nixon’s Catering on Highway 32, Woodard’s Pharmacy in downtown Hertford, Elizabeth City Pawn & Guns, and David’s New Red Barn.

The Hee Haw show features skits, jokes, and musical performances by local entertainers, many of whom return year after year. The production showcases regional talent and highlights the strong sense of community in the Rocky Hock area.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Rocky Hock Ruritan Club’s service efforts, including youth programs, community improvements, and charitable projects.

For more information about the event or ticket availability, residents are encouraged to visit one of the participating ticket locations listed on the event poster.
