PLYMOUTH — Two men were injured in an early Sunday morning shooting that remains under investigation, the Plymouth Police Department said.
Officers responded to the area of Albemarle Drive around 1:53 a.m. Sunday, September 13, after a report of shots fired. About 20 minutes later, officers were dispatched to the Emergency Department at Washington Regional Medical Center, where two men with gunshot wounds had arrived.
Police identified the men as Armon J’Quez McNair, 24, of Williamston, and Naquan Lee Wynne, 24, of Plymouth. McNair was shot in the left foot; Wynne was shot in the left thigh.
Neither man provided information about the shooting when questioned by officers, police said. Both were later taken to ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville for further treatment.
