The Shepard-Pruden Memorial Library is excited to announce its 2026 Summer Reading Program, “Unearth a Story” running from June 23 through August 11.

Readers of all ages are invited to participate in this community-wide celebration of books, discovery, and imagination.  The Summer Reading Program is open for all ages and for the first time, there will be an Adult Summer Reading Program with a Bingo Board and fun activities.

In addition to reading challenges and prizes, the Shepard-Pruden Memorial Library will offer more than 30 programs throughout the summer.  Activities will include hands-on learning experiences, crafts, special guests, performances, and opportunities for children and families to explore, create, and discover together.

For a complete schedule of events of events and program information, visit the Shepard-Pruden Memorial Library Calendar on the website, Facebook, Instagram, or stop by the library to register.

Join us this summer as we dig into great stories, uncover new adventures, and work together to read.  Come discover what awaits as we “Unearth a Story” at the Shepard-Pruden Memorial Library.  I look forward to seeing you soon!
