During halftime, the Bulldogs introduced the homecoming court that included:

  • 6th Grade: Kylen Moore-Tripp and  Ivory Ferebee
  • 7th Grade: Amarian Stanley and Nasiyah Winfield
  • 8th Grade: Aydon Walker, Zionna Holley, Amarius Stanley, Queen Horton, Lilly Smith, Thomas Strawser, Ky’Myah Adams and Kayden Crawley

Principal Brittany Lopez told the Albemarle Observer that the middle school will not have a homecoming dance. The school hosted a Girls with Goals event on October 7, and each day of the week is a themed spirit day.

Girls with Goals is an empowerment event, an inspiring initiative designed to equip young women with the tools to lead boldly and dream big. The program, led by Lopez, Assistant Principal Carisa Copeland, and School Counselor Gilliam, featured keynote speaker Attorney Ashley Mitchell. Through discussions on professionalism, leadership, and digital presence, students explored how to set meaningful goals, build confidence, and prepare for their futures.
