JC Nixon and Josh White were recently recognized for having the highest
peanut yield in the state of North Carolina for the 2024 growing season. These two
Chowan County farmers were able to produce an astonishing 7,030.99 lbs per acre
yield across 107.23 acres. Congratulations to this Grandfather and Grandson
partnership for being state champions.
