COLUMBIA — Columbia Early College High School is set to celebrate its commencement service at 7 p.m. Friday, May 30, at the school’s campus.
Valedictorian is Karen Santibanez Castaneda – who also earned an Associate of Arts and Criminal Justice Certificate.
Salutatorian is Yulissa Gonzalez-Ochoa – who also earned Associates of Arts and Community Spanish Interpreter Certificate.
Guest speaker is Nelson Smith, retired superintendent of Tyrrell County Schools. Smith served Tyrrell County Schools with distinction for over three decades and continues to be a pillar of the community.
