In days of yore, local newspapers compiled reports from the county courthouse as to who filed for marriage licenses and much more, but they’ve stopped doing this much like many other things that should be done — and folks wonder why no one subscribes any more…
Thus, we’re going to be publishing this important information from time to time.
Marriage licenses filed with the Chowan County Register of Deeds – congrats to these newlyweds:
Lance Freeman, 26, of Colerain and Emiley Dawson, 24, of Windsor were married by Reverend Tommy Tripp on Feb. 22 in Hertford County – Ahoskie.
Joshua Clayton, 24, and Ashley Rose, 22, both of Edenton, were married by Reverend Gregory Owenby on Feb. 23 in Perquimans County.
Derrick Camino, 31, of Houston, Tx, and Nicole Oldaker, 33, of Edenton were married by Reverend Morris Davenport Feb. 22 in Edenton.
Charles Noble, 40, of Edenton, and Patrycia Antoniak, 22, of Elizabeth City were married by Magistrate Keith Nixon on Feb. 14, Valentine’s Day, at the Chowan County Courthouse.
Michael Rouson, 64, of Plymouth and Theresa Williams, 66, of Edenton were married by Pastor Kyle Harris on Feb. 9 in Chowan County.
Devin Alexander, 25, of Edenton and Jessica Holland, 28, of Tyner were married by Magistrate Greg Dail on Feb. 6 at the Chowan County Courthouse.
Dennis Munden, 69, of Boaz, Al, and Stacy Beasley, 61, of Edenton were married by Reverend Christopher Gravning on Feb. 1 in Chowan County.
Corey Sackrison, 33, and Jessica Bundy, 31, both of Edenton, were married by Reverend Phillip Craig Jr. on Feb. 2 in New Hanover County – Wilmington.
Mark Overman Jr., 30, of Edenton and Madison Irving, 24, of Hertford were married by Reverend Allen Layton on Jan. 17 in Chowan County.
