We want to say thanks!
Our first pledge drive was a very good start – we’ll say again, much thanks!
You folks have made a HUGE difference! Praise be to God, and thanks to our donors and our readers.
Our goal is to build a better media outlet – one that covers the news accurately and without bias about our community and Northeast North Carolina.
That means quality coverage of town councils, school board meetings, local events, including Constitution Day and MLK Day, sports stories and more.
Folks should be able to gain access to their local news for free – no paywalls, gimmicks, or slow-to-load stories – so as to be better informed about their hometowns.
Feels like that Field of Dreams movie – where, if you build it, they will come. We have faith in God’s will.
We have a plan – a good one that’s been tested as to where we want the Albemarle Observer to be in six months, a year and five years.
Our readers are part of that plan – we thank you for your support.
