The church, located along NC 32 near Rocky Hock, hosted the annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebration, organized by the Chowan County Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebration Committee.
This year’s keynote speaker was Apostle Vonner Ford who, with her husband Pastor Rudy Ford, leads New Life Ministries.
Among the audience members where the Edenton Town Council, which held a work session prior to the celebration at the church, and members of Chowan County Board of Commissioners and Edenton-Chowan School Board of Education.
