The Edenton-Chowan Schools Board of Education plans to celebrate district staff members just prior to the Jan. 14 meeting.

The meeting will be held for 6:30 p.m. in the Professional Development Center, 109 Blade St., Edenton. A call-in number will be provided on the district’s Facebook page (facebook.com/EdentonChowan) so the public to listen remotely.

Among the items on the agenda include a construction update by Chris Brabble, director of maintenance and facilities.

The board will also consider second readings of the 2025-26 school calendar and several budget amendments.
