Public meeting on Currituck County park project

The Currituck County Parks and Recreation Department will host a public meeting on April 8, 2026, to provide information on the proposed Phase III expansion project for Community Park. The “drop-in” style meeting will be open from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Currituck Senior Center, located at 130 Community Way, Barco, North Carolina 27917.
Staff will display the project plans and be available to discuss the project with members of the public and answer questions. The proposed Phase III expansion includes additional baseball/softball fields, walking paths, picnic pavilions, restrooms, and parking.
